Turkey to lay 1,845 charges for insulting President Erdogan
ANKARA — Reuters, Mar. 02, 2016
God's Messenger did not tolerate any criticism of his person or his mission and neither does Erdogan.
On first entering Mecca, after its surrender without a fight, one of the Prophet's first order of business was seeing to the murder of two women who, as girls, had satirized him in song.
Then there were the dead poets who were often the reporters in the Prophet's day.
The killing of those who would shed light into dark corners goes way back to the earliest days of Islam, the battle of Badr to be exact, which the believers won and which ignited the war which continues to this day.
It may not be a coincidence that journalist Naji Jerf was murdered in Turkey.
Turkey's biggest newspaper, Zaman, has condemned its takeover by the authorities in a defiant last edition published just before police raided it.

It is only a matter of time before even mild criticism of an admirer of the ways of the Prophet and of Hitler is an automatic death sentence

The Second World War was fought to deny the aspiration of the so-called master race to enslave or murder whom they considered inferior beings. It was a close thing, as will be the Third World War which will be fought to deny the aspiration of those who follow the superior religion to murder or enslave those who don't.
48:28 It is He Who sent forth His Messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, that He may exalt it above every other religion. Allah suffices as Witness.
Who will win that war is a foregone conclusion for authors like Mark Stein. In his book America Alone, he writes that the future belong to Islam because “the Muslim world has youth, numbers and global ambition. The West is growing old and enfeebled, and more and more lacks the will to rebuff those who would supplant it.”
The youth of Mark Stein include the young men, the vast majority of the so-called migrants whose transit to the closest Land of War is facilitated by Turkey's faith-guided government.
If Erdogan is seeking to overturn the defeat of the Ottoman Empire at the gates of Vienna in 1683, he may just succeed.
Islam's success through the ages has been due to visionary strategic leadership, the first being that of the Prophet Muhammad himself. Erdogan may just be the latest of a long line of visionary leaders who have never lost sight of the goal set by the author of the Koran to make the only religion acceptable to Allah triumph over every other religion, no matter how long it takes and by whatever means.
3:85 Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.
If we are to win this war, we too will have to follow the example of the Prophet and start thinking strategically (one of the reason for writing about the Koran and the life and times of the Prophet Muhammad) and with dispassion.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has condemned as "treason" a call by prominent Kurdish politician Selahattin Demirtas for Kurdish autonomy.
BBC Dec 29, 2015
Erdogan very much sees himself as the head of a Turkish caliphate modelled on that of the old Ottoman Empire. This is his dream for Turkey.
There is no room for dissention in a county whose government is based on the Koran. Expect a slaughter of the Kurds, as demanded in that holy book, should they not desist in their demands for more autonomy; but first, expect Erdogan to accuse the Kurds of not being real Muslims i.e. heretics.
2:191 Kill them wherever you find them and drive them out from wherever they drove you out. Sedition is worse than slaughter. Do not fight them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight you at it. If they fight you there kill them. Such is the reward for the unbelievers.
Abu Bakr, the Prophet's successor, is remembered as the first to make good use of Allah's law pertaining to secessionists. After the Prophet's death, there was a rebellion against Muslim rule known as the War of the Apostates. In the last phase of that war, Bakr ordered the slaughter of 7,000 so-called apostates.
The deeply religious Erdogan also has the example of the Prophet, a legal precedent under Islamic law, in the massacre of the Banu Qurayzah, as to how you deal with alleged traitors.
ANKARA, Turkey -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has set off a new controversy, declaring that women are not equal to men and accusing feminists of not understanding the special status that Islam attributes to mothers
Associated Press, Nov 24, 2014
He is correct:
2:228 Divorced women should keep away from men for three menstrual periods. And it is not lawful for them to conceal that which Allah has created in their wombs, if they truly believe in Allah and the Last Day. Their husbands have the right in the meantime to take them back, should they seek reconciliation; and women have rights equal to what is incumbent upon them according to what is just, although men are one degree above them (what is meant here is that the men have a superior authority). Allah is Mighty, Wise.
