BorealThe Fractured Nation InterviewsMuhammad AbdullahThe Names Of God And Praising The ProphetJohnny: When you put it that way. We are about out of time but before we go, I’m curious about two things. The first, why is it that every time you mentioned the name of Allah you added a qualifier. Muhammad: He is not the Muslim God! He is the God of everyone, even those who don’t acknowledge his supremacy and will be spending eternity in Hell. There is a famous listing called the Ninety-nine Names of Allah, The Name Of God. Each name reflects a quality of Allah, The Holy. When talking about Allah, The Source Of Peace, I like to remind my listener what quality of Allah, The Honourer, may be brought to bear on the discussion at hand. Johnny: How delightful. The second thing is, whenever you referred to the Prophet Muhammad you said the peace and blessings of God be upon him. Is there any significance to this as well? Muhammad: Of course. Muslim don’t say anything without thinking. Good Muslims, whenever they hear the name of the Prophet Muhammad, the peace and blessings of God be upon him, are supposed to say the peace and blessings of God be upon him. Both the Koran and the Sunnah demand that we say this. Muslims believe that whenever we wish peace upon the Prophet, the peace and blessings of God be upon him, an angel goes to the Prophet’s, the peace and blessings of God be upon him, grave and brings the news to his soul which is lying there. On the day of judgement, Allah, The All-Forgiving will listen to some pleas for mercy from the Prophet Muhammad, the peace and blessings of God be upon him for those Allah, The Merciful, has sentence to hell’s fires. Since Allah, The Forgiver, will only allow a limited number of pleas, the more blessings you wish on the Prophet, the peace and blessings of God be upon him the better your chances that the Prophet the peace and blessings of God be upon him will intercede on your behalf if you have done something for which Allah The Dishonourer, believes you should spend an eternity in His hell. Johnny: Well your Excellency, I believe you have earned a lot of Prophet Points tonight. Muhammad: ARE YOU TRYING TO BE FUNNY? Johnny: Absolutely not. From our short time together your Excellency, I have learned that I must treat Islam with the outmost respect and reverence and to fear the Wrath of Allah. Muhammad: That, Mr. MacDonald, is the beginning of wisdom. Johnny: Thank you and thanks to all of you for joining us tonight and again I apologize if anything I might have said or done or even thought of doing that has offended any member of the Muslim community. Join us tomorrow, God, Allah willing, when the mystery of Canada’s disappearance deepens and yes, more talk about violence and about what was done to bring an end to it. Our guest will be the Right, the Honourable and always entertaining Tamil Boom-Boom Singh, Prime Minister of ACNA. See you tomorrow. END OF SECOND INTERVIEW
