Who are you calling an Islamophobe?
As we accept more and more refugees and immigrants whose values and beliefs are often at odds with our own, which one will change the other for the better, and who is to define what the better is. Today, to favour one over the other, even if you are Muslim, is to invite accusations of being an Islamophobe or of spreading Islamophobia.
If we do not have Sharia tribunals officially operating in Canada, at this time, it is largely thanks to the Muslim Canadian Congress who, in 2004-2005, took on the promoters of this initiative, the now defunct Canadian Islamic Congress and their Liberal and NDP supporters in the Ontario legislature, and opened our eyes to what Islamic law is all about before it was too late.
The moderates have since lost ground to the extremists, thanks in large part to the intervention of a coterie of naïve politicians, academics and intellectuals who, not knowing any better, see nothing wrong in helping to propagate traditional Islamic values and traditions.
During last year's niqab debate (2015), two prominent moderate voices in the Muslim community appeared before a House of Commons' committee to state their objections to new citizens taking the oath of citizenship incognito. They were challenged by the then NDP's Foreign Affairs critic Paul Dewar whose party, like the Liberals who would form the next government, was in favour of welcoming anonymous new citizens.
Dewar said that it was not what he was hearing.
He was told, that it was because he was listening to the extremists.
The extremists' view would prevail and get an added boost with the election of a Prime Minister who believes that a way of life which would supplant all others can be safely accommodated under a tortured definition of multiculturalism which regards all mainstream value systems as equal, thereby interchangeable, leaving them to compete Darwinian-like for supremacy.
61:9 It is He Who sent His Messenger forth with the guidance and the religion of truth, to make it triumph over every religion.
Like McGuinty, Trudeau appears willfully ignorant about what this ideological struggle is all about. This was evident in his keynote speech at the 2012 Reviving the Islamic Spirit Conference (December 21-23), the largest of its kind in North America.
Only a few days before the celebration of the birth of the one whom Christians revere as the Son of God, Trudeau was at the Toronto Convention Center celebrating with those whose variation of the Jewish Yahweh demands of His followers that they tirelessly labour in His Cause to make the proclaimed religion of truth triumph over the religions that preach nothing but lies, including the religion of perverts who claim Jesus is His son.
9:30 The Jews say: “Ezra is the son of Allah”, and the Christians say: “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” That is their statement, by their mouths; they emulate the statement of the unbelievers of yore. May Allah damn them; how they are perverted!
Trudeau in his speech dismissed as people who were only interested in "pit[ing] groups of Canadians against each other" those who thought it unseemly and ill-advised for him to lend his prestige and that of his father to a conference whose participants in their daily devotions pray to a god whose revealed truths (immutable facts communicated to a mortal by a god), in a book He allegedly authored, are openly contemptuous of Judeo-Christian values and beliefs.
It should not have come as surprise that after this defeat of the moderates in the niqab debate, only a few months after the Liberal's took power and made anonymous citizens legal, there was a celebration at Ottawa City Hall of the hijab.
If the Prime Minister's Office acknowledgement of my gift of Jihad in the Koran is more than a perfunctory response, there is perhaps a slim hope that the Prime Minister will be better informed about our existential struggle.
This is, of course, if a lack of knowledge is actually the reason for his bending over backwards to accommodate the religion of truth and chastising those who fear more accommodations will only lead to more demands until the religion of truth has, for all intents and purpose, effectively triumphed over every other religions which are not as insistent on being accommodated everywhere.
3:85 Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers
