It bears repeating! The main difference between the rapes (apart from the mutilations) committed by Hamas on October 7 and the rapes committed with Muhammad's knowledge—and which are supposed to serve as an example to this day as to how it’s done—is: you raped the captured women and girls of your opponent after the battle, not during.
This became, more or less, a hard and fast rule after the Muslims, at the battle of Uhud, were distracted by females in the Meccan camp. The battle of Uhud was the only battle the believers lost in the Prophet’s successful campaign to convert the Arabs of the Peninsula by force.

This saying of Muhammad about avoiding using fire to kill people is not a hard and fast rule judging from what appears to be the burning alive by Hamas of young women having fun and what the Islamic State did to a Jordanian pilot.

Yesterday, in my posting about what was done to women and girls that fateful morning I placed the blame squarely on Allah and His book. The example of the one who revealed its content may also have been responsible to a lesser extent.
Algerian novelist and journalist Kamel Daoud in writing about the Cologne sexual aggressions; Cologne - City of Illusion which appeared in Le Monde wrote about how sex is "the greatest misery in the world of Allah." That misery may have been visited in a most horrible way on women and girls who, in the eyes of their mutilators and executioners, had undauntedly committed illegal sex—sex outside marriage or sex with other than your spouse or spouses for men—and therefore deserving of the type of punishment their Prophet would have meted out with unrestrained glee where females were concerned.

That children raised on the pervasive sadism and abject cruelty found in the Koran (see October 25, 2023 posting, In phone recording found after Hamas attack son tells parents he ‘killed Jews' ) should grow up to exhibit the same depravity as the revered Author of the book should not come as a surprise. As to their fixation on mutilating women, it may have more to do with their portrayal in the story of Joseph son of Jacob as lying mantraps than the low opinion in which they are held by God and His spokesman, Who, has mentioned before, will condemn the vast majority of them to burn in Hell for an eternity.
Allah is a big fan of mutilation as His recommended punishment for stealing will attest.

The shooting of women in their vagina, putting foreign objects such as nails in their intimate parts, the crushing of their pelvic bone, the mutilation of their genitals until they became unrecognizable… as reported in the New York Times article, may have largely to do with Allah's sick sense of justice and retribution which He has passed on to His followers.
In another account in a New York Time's article of female mutilation—that I have not kept track thinking I could never report on this depth of depravity in human beings—Hamas sliced off the breasts of at least one woman while she was still alive then tossed them around like baseballs. A BBC account of this example of abject depravity among others:
"She was alive," the witness says. "She was bleeding from her back."
She goes on to detail how the men cut off parts of the victim's body during the assault. "They sliced her breast and threw it on the street," she says. "They were playing with it."
The victim was passed to another man in uniform, she continues. "He penetrated her, and shot her in the head before he finished. He didn't even pick up his pants; he shoots and ejaculates."
Necrophilia was also practiced by Hamas holy warriors;
"Some women were raped before they were dead, some raped while injured, and some were already dead when the terrorists raped their lifeless bodies,"

I ask where that lands in her, as a woman.

There was no need to plan anything. This Christmas, Christians in Gaza “pray for their survival” Radio-Canada spoke with Palestinian refugees in the only two churches open in war-ravaged Gaza City. There are only 1,000 Christians left in Gaza and their numbers continue to decline.
Since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas, Christians in Gaza have been forced to take refuge in the only two churches still open in the city, half of the buildings of which were destroyed in less than two months.
Thus, nearly 600 people are sheltered in the Catholic Church of the Holy Family and 400 others in the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint-Porphyre.
It was in this church that 18 people who had taken refuge there were killed on October 19 in an Israeli strike targeting an annex building belonging to the monastery, one of the oldest in the world (mine and Google's translation).

I remember when I was 8, or thereabout, I wanted to kill Romans. It was all a misunderstanding. For children living in the occupied West Bank there is no misunderstanding.
Remember, the reason Israeli forces were not where they should have been on October 7 was because they had been ordered to the West Bank to quell expected protests following a planned announcement of further significant annexation of Palestinian territory.
The heavily armed soldiers wearing body armour in Jenin that night were there to kill opposition to a land grab. They were in no danger from anything an 8 year old may have attempted to throw in their direction from a considerable distance. This would indicate that, along with the shot to the head, he was probably killed by a sniper who knew exactly whose life he was taking. He was taking the life of a child who would probably grow up to be a real threat. That, in and of itself, makes it even worse, as does the killing of the children of Gaza.
Israel cannot kill its way out of the turmoil created by Netanyahu and his ultra-orthodox allies. The sooner it accepts this reality, the sooner all this killing can stop.

women (CNN). Most of the Palestinian prisoners on Hamas’ list to be released are said to be male teenagers between 16 and 18 years of age (ABC News).
One of the reasons given for the delay in Saturday’s hostage-prisoner exchange was Hamas’ claim that, in the first release of prisoners, Israel had not respected the list. This may explain the lopsided number of teenaged boys released on Saturday.
Based on the reception the boys received, and in the face of provocation by settlers whose very presence in the West Bank is an act of aggression, don't expect them to sit this one out—and they will not be alone. They will be joined by other adolescents bent on killing Israelis like those photographed (Goran Tomasevic/The Globe And Mail, October 27, 2023) with assault rifles "during a funeral of two Islamic Jihad militants in the West Bank city of Jenin.”
The Prophet, whose tactics guide Hamas and similar ruthless militant organizations, was well aware of the usefulness of armed fearless teenaged boys and set 15 as the age they could join men in an organized slaughter of his enemies. If they are successful in provoking an Israeli overreaction, Hamas will have succeeded in opening a second front with Hezbollah staying put in Lebanon for the time being.

Remember, an action done in the presence or with the knowledge of Muhammad, of which he did not disapprove, is a legal precedent under Islamic law. Sexual assault was standard operating procedure as far as he was concerned and his example survives to this day. He only objected to his men committing coitus interruptus. What if the person who has a death wish is the leader of a country that has, or will soon have, perhaps courtesy of North Korean, the BOMB? And what if this person doesn’t care about dying in a retaliatory strike because of the prominent status he will achieve in Paradise for having burnt in a nuclear fire millions of those for whom Allah harbours a pathological hatred.
The Mad doctrine will not dissuade religious fanatics like Khamenei and his kind from destroying Israel, even if it brings about the destruction of Iran from at least a ten-fold retaliation in kind from Israeli nuclear missile submarines on patrol in the Persian Gulf. With MAD having been rendered obsolete, Israel, in the interest of saving its own population, that of Iran and people downwind from the radioactive fallout, may want to consider a new deterrent.

For a soldier in Gaza, the decision whether the wearer of this voluminous identity-concealing garment, that is a testament to the wearer’s radicalism, conceals a suicide vest or some form of explosive device must be made before that ominous figure comes within 110 feet (JCAT’s Counterterrorism Guide, Bomb Threat Standoff Distances) to avoid death or severe injury. If he shoots, and it turns out to be the wrong decision, Allah will probably blame the victim for not heeding His warning about taking the necessary precautions (see Hellbound, Boreal Oct 28, 2023)

A guest on CNN worried that the death of civilians in Gaza was leading to a new generation dedicated to the destruction of Israel. That generation was already there as the October 7 attack revealed and will be there as long as Israel exists, and then they will find other targets.
Evidence suggests that the universe will expand forever and one by one the stars will burn themselves out leaving the universe a dark, cold forbidding place. Every woman in a normal, rational, egalitarian society has a chance to shine like the proverbial star and make everyone's world a brighter place, but not the women of Gaza hidden underneath a black tent-like garment and to a lesser extent the ubiquitous chador.

In photographs of women in the ruins of Gaza most, if not all, are wearing traditional Islamic clothing, including the ubiquitous chador and the vast majority are seriously overweight by Western standards (Uzza has an explanation for the weight gain). Most of those photographed with young children appear older than their mother should.
The most troublesome aspect of these photographs of the devastation in Gaza is that teenaged girls and young women are largely invisible. Under traditional Islam, post-pubescent girls and women are not allowed to leave the home unaccompanied by a husband, a close male relative or a non-relation they have suckled. This is not the case for the boys and men seen milling around. What this could mean is that, under the rubble, you will find more girls and young women than boys and men.
Women were instrumental in putting Hamas in charge. Their appearance when out in public could be an indication they share its vision. Women have been responsible for shaping the future since time immemorial. In this instance, women may have decided the fate of Israel and that of those under the rubble.

Jews and the first Muslims used to get along like a house-on-fire. They even prayed together in the direction of Jerusalem.
